Boisson Divine

Boisson Divine is a French folk rock band that came up in the early 2000s. Their song 'Vive Henri IV,' a tribute to the 16th-century king sometimes called 'le bon roi Henri,' became something of an anthem, though its royalist overtones have drawn criticism. The band has defended it as a celebration of French heritage.

The group's debut album was 'La Coquille et le Clergyman,' which included 'Vive Henri IV.' They followed it with records like 'Les Fils du Vent,' 'Le Grand Bal des Cornemuses,' and 'La Ballade de la Mer Salée.' Other songs in their catalog include 'Cama Crusa,' 'Cent Cops Dé Bastou,' and 'Libertat.'

Jean-Jacques Milteau handles lead vocals and harmonica.
