Bojo formed in Miami in 1998 as a trio with Juanes, Mario Domm, and Steven Vait. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2000, and its track "Colores" became a hit. Juanes left in 2002 to go solo, leaving Domm and Vait to continue as a duo.
They kept making albums through the 2000s and 2010s, including Fechas, El Terror, Vértigo, and Ruta 33. Songs like "Discurso" and "Nervokalm" show their mix of rock, pop, and Latin rhythms. In 2016, they faced some backlash over a social media post with military uniforms and had to apologize.
Their later work, like 2017's Pasieros, leaned more toward introspective lyrics. They never really stopped, but the focus shifted from the early trio energy to whatever Domm and Vait wanted to explore as a pair.
