Bonde Das Bonecas was a Brazilian electropop trio that formed in 2002 with Marina Ribatski, Pedro Dantas, and Rodrigo Lemos. Their debut album 'The Ballad of Bonde Das Bonecas' came out in 2004 and included 'Liga da Justiça,' which became their breakout track.
They put out a few more records like 'Zero' in 2006, 'Black Album' in 2008, and 'BDB' in 2012. Their sound mixed electroclash with hip-hop and funk, and sometimes touched on pop or Brazilian rhythms.
They called it quits in 2018 after about sixteen years together. Marina Ribatski went on to do solo work, while Dantas and Lemos moved to other music projects.
