Boyboy

Boyboy is a three-piece band from Mexico City, with Gabriel Tenorio on vocals and guitar, Jovan Alvarado on drums, and Bruno Ortiz on bass. They started playing local open mics and underground venues around the city, building a following with a sound that mixed alternative rock, folk, and electronic touches.

In 2016 they put out their debut album, also called "Vices." The title track became their most recognizable song, a raw ballad that connected with listeners for its direct take on personal struggles. That album helped them reach a wider audience and led to touring.

They've kept a fairly low profile since then, with the occasional mention of a melody dispute in 2018 that didn't seem to define their path. For now, "Vices" remains the song people know them by.
