Boyfrndz formed in Los Angeles in 2018 with Coleman Trapp on vocals and guitar, Noah Breakfast on bass, Alex Harper on drums, and Nathan Chase on keyboards. Their debut single 'All At Once' came out the following year and got some attention. They put out their first album 'Maybe Tomorrow' in 2021.
Noah Breakfast left the band in 2020 after some public trouble. The rest kept going as a trio. Their songs like 'Big Faces' and 'Design' have a mix of indie rock and synth-pop sounds.
