Archive material and source history
Boylife was an Irish pop duo formed in 1994 by Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy, both of whom had previously been in Westlife. Their debut album 'Said and Done' came out in 1999, with the title track becoming a hit. A second album, 'Where We Belong,' followed.
In 2000, songwriter Pete Waterman sued the duo, claiming they had plagiarized a melody from one of his compositions. The lawsuit was settled, and Boylife had to withdraw their single 'No Matter What' from circulation.
They kept making music after that. Their third album, 'In the Centre of the Heart,' included the song 'Church.'
