Boys And Men formed in Nagoya in 2011 as a ten-member Japanese pop group. They were led by Yutaka Honda. Their 2014 single 'Tsukuyomi' became a breakout hit that pushed them to national attention.
Their music often mixed pop with rock and sometimes traditional Japanese sounds. Songs like 'Wanna Be!' and 'Tsukuyomi' carried themes about friendship and chasing dreams. They released several singles and albums, including 'Taiyou no Ko' and 'Arigatou no Tsuyosa'.
In 2016, member Kento Komada left the group for health reasons. Around that time, they also faced criticism about lip-syncing during live shows, which they later addressed with an apology.
The group's lineup has included Yuma Tanaka, Ryusei Sasaki, Takahiro Suzuki, Shunta Mori, Kazuki Sato, Naoya Tateishi, Mikito Fukuda, Taiki Nakao, and Keita Fujiwara alongside Honda.
