They built a following through energetic live shows, playing the traditional northeastern Brazilian music called forró. Their early albums included 'Forró do Boy' in 2005 and 'Ao Vivo no Forró Caju' the following year.
Their song 'Cachaça Eu Te Amo' became a hit but drew some criticism for its celebration of strong liquor. The band defended it as part of Brazilian culture. Other popular tracks include 'A Carne é Fraca' and 'Kika Na Latinha'.
The group's lineup has included Bruno Calasans on percussion, André Luiz on bass, and Thiago Pereira on guitar alongside Leite.
