Archive material and source history
BRÅVES formed in Copenhagen in 2008 around Loui Sunden-Pedersen on vocals and guitar and Jonas Krag on bass. Their early years were spent working through lineup changes and financial constraints while developing their sound.
In 2012 they released their debut album 'Dust,' which included the title track and 'Phantoms Of Youth.' The record found an audience with its ambient textures and melancholic lyrics, though some critics questioned its originality. They followed it with 'Blood Rush' in 2015 and 'Prima' in 2018.
The band's lineup eventually stabilized with Sunden-Pedersen and Krag joined by Kasper Sølander on drums and Marie Højlund on cello. Their earlier EPs included 'Sleepwalker' from 2010 and 'Sleepwalking' from 2011.
