Breakbot

Breakbot is the project of French producer Thibaut Berland, who started making music in Bordeaux in the mid-2000s. The track that really connected with people was 'Baby I'm Yours,' featuring vocalist Irfane. That song has a way of sticking around, showing up in playlists and DJ sets years later.

Berland's work as Breakbot pulls from disco and funk, with a house music pulse underneath. The 2012 album 'By Your Side' laid out that sound, and later records like 'Still Waters' and 'Fantasy' kept exploring it. Other tracks like 'Get Lost' and 'My Toy' have a similar feel, bright, danceable, and built on classic grooves.

For live shows, the project expanded to include Irfane on vocals and Arthur Simonini on drums. The music isn't about grand statements or chasing trends; it's more about crafting a reliable, good-time vibe that works on a dancefloor or in the background of a sunny afternoon.
