Their 2011 single 'Brotou Na Base' broke through nationally, becoming something of an anthem for Brazilian youth at the time.
After that initial success, their music began to incorporate more elements from hip-hop, funk, and samba. Their lyrics also shifted toward more introspective and socially conscious themes.
