Bribry formed in Los Angeles in 2007 around singer-songwriter Tim Kiefer, guitarist Zach Liebman, bassist Zachariah Hickman, and drummer Jennifer Condos. They were approached by Cartoon Network in 2010 to create the theme song for the animated series 'Adventure Time.' That song, with its infectious melody and whimsical lyrics, became a viral sensation and introduced the band to a much wider audience.
Beyond 'Adventure Time,' the group has released several albums and EPs, including their self-titled debut in 2008, 'Arborea' in 2014, and a couple of EPs. Their catalog includes other songs like 'Astronauts,' 'Care,' and 'Everything.'
In 2011, the band was involved in a legal dispute over the rights to the 'Adventure Time' theme, which was eventually settled. They've also faced some criticism regarding their lineup's diversity, which they've acknowledged and worked to address.
