Brídín Brennan was the lead vocalist for the band that shared her name, which formed in Dublin in the mid-1980s. The group included Dave Fleming on bass, Paul Byrne on guitar, and Harry Doherty on drums. Their debut album, 'Another Day,' came out in 1989, and its title track became a hit in Ireland.
In the late 1990s, Brennan took a break from music for a time. The band's 2000 album, 'Above the Clouds,' didn't do as well commercially as their earlier work. They came back in 2005 with 'The River,' which critics liked, and kept recording, putting out 'The Last of the Sun' in 2015.
Songs like 'Breakdown,' 'Don't Go,' and 'It's Too Late' are part of their catalog.
