B'tX formed in 2006 as a Japanese pop-rock band. Their song "Haruka - Sailing For My Dream [abertura]" became popular with anime fans, along with tracks like "A Piece of the Sun" and "Boku no Ikikata [Encerramento]."
They released albums roughly every two years, including B'tX I in 2007, B'tX II in 2009, and B'tX III in 2011. The band's lineup featured Masato on vocals, Takahide on guitar and vocals, Hiroaki on bass, and Shun on drums.
In 2010, B'tX faced plagiarism allegations concerning a song called "Endless Story," which temporarily affected their standing. They continued putting out albums through at least 2015 with B'tX V.
