Archive material and source history
Buchanan was a British rock band that formed in London in 1971. The group included brothers Andy and Hugh Buchanan on vocals and guitar, with Graham Todd on drums and John McCoy on bass. They put out their self-titled debut album in 1972, which had the single 'Mr Keeperman' on it. That song got some attention and helped them get started.
They released three more albums after that: 'Son of a Preacher Man' in 1973, 'Out of the Rain' in 1974, and 'Rock On' in 1976. Other tracks like 'Plans' and 'Run Faster' appeared on those records. The band broke up in 1976, and Andy Buchanan went on to do solo work after that.
