Archive material and source history
Bullet Train formed in the early 2000s with Travis Barker on vocals and guitar, Mark Hoppus on bass and vocals, and drummer Adam Goldstein. Their debut album 'Burn!' came out in 2002, and the title track became an early signature song for the band.
Goldstein died in 2009, which left Barker and Hoppus to continue as a duo. They kept recording, putting out albums like 'Porcelain' in 2005 and 'California' in 2016. Other songs from their catalog include 'Ebiday Ebinai' and 'Jesus'.
In 2021, Hoppus was diagnosed with cancer, which paused the band's activities. He has since recovered. Bullet Train's music blends punk energy with alternative rock, built around Barker's guitar work and Hoppus's bass lines.
