Busco-te formed in Lisbon in the late 1980s with Carlos Costa on vocals and guitar, Fernando Sousa on bass, João Baião on drums, and Paulo Silva on keyboards. They were a Portuguese rock band that put out their debut album 'Sacrifício' in 1990.
That album's title track, 'Sacrifício,' became their most recognizable song. It's the one people still talk about when the band comes up.
They released a couple more albums in the early '90s, like 'Frágil' in 1992 and 'Um Novo Dia' in 1995. Their lyrics sometimes touched on social commentary, which drew some criticism at the time.
