He released albums including 'Signs of the Times' in 1997, 'Bushman' in 1999, and 'More Time' in 2001. In 1999, he was arrested on drug charges and spent some time in prison. After getting out, he went back to recording and performing.
Later records like 'Appetite for Destruction' from 2005 and a live album from Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2007 followed. He worked with a band that included musicians like Orville 'Bagga' Burrell on keys and Paul 'Wrong Move' Crossdale on bass. His songs often dealt with social issues and personal change.
