Archive material and source history

C-C-B was a Japanese pop band formed in 1982 with Kosaku Yamauchi on vocals, Michitaka Kano on guitar, Takayuki Miyauchi on bass, and Kazuhito Kikuchi on drums. They signed with Sony Music and released their debut single 'Romantic Ga Tomaranai' in 1985, which became a major hit in Japan.

That song's success led to more singles like 'Lucky Chance wo Mata Nebotte' and 'Natsuyasumi no 19 Sai.' Their stage presence drew some criticism for being theatrical, but they kept performing in colorful costumes. By the late 1980s, they were experimenting with rock sounds on albums like 'Dancin' Hero' and singles like 'Arui wa Anarchy.'

The band disbanded in 1990 after about seven years together. They reunited briefly in 1999 for some concerts and new material, then split again in 2005.
