Editor's note

C-Clown's brief, bright run of K-pop

A seven-member boy group that released music between 2012 and 2015.

If you're checking them out now, start with 'Far Away. Young Love' and 'Let's Love'. Those two tracks give you the clearest picture of what they were about.

They left behind a small catalog of songs that still gets play, especially tracks like 'Far Away. Young Love' and 'Let's Love'. Their music videos show a group with sharp choreography and a clear visual identity during their active years. For fans of that era's K-pop, their name still carries weight.

C-Clown debuted in 2012 with the single 'Solo' and released two mini-albums and a single album before disbanding in 2015. Their songs like 'Justice' and 'Shaking Heart' capture the upbeat, polished sound typical of mid-2010s boy groups.

Archive material and source history

C-Clown was a K-pop group formed in 2012 under Yedang Entertainment. The original lineup had seven members: Siwoo, Rome, Kang Jun, T.K, Maru, Ray, and Sihun. They debuted that July with the single 'Solo,' and followed it up with 'Far Away... Young Love' later that same year.

Their time together was brief. Member Rome left in 2013 after a public altercation, and the group continued as six. In 2015, T.K was dismissed following sexual harassment allegations. The group went on hiatus that year and was officially disbanded by their label in March 2016.

They released a handful of singles during their active years, including songs like 'Shaking Heart' and 'Let's Love.'
