C-side Rock formed in Porto Alegre in 1986 with Edu Schütz on vocals, Rodrigo Tavares on guitar, Beto Telles on bass, and Biba Meira on drums. Their debut album 'Quem Sabe Um Dia' came out in 1990, and its title track became a national hit in Brazil.
Guitarist Rodrigo Tavares left the band in 1995, and Marcão Corrêa joined as his replacement. They kept recording through the 1990s and 2000s, putting out albums like 'Mundo C-Side' and 'Raiz'.
Their song 'Um Louco Por Você' drew some attention for its subject matter. They released a live album in 2013.
