Cabesativa

Cabesativa formed in the early 2000s in Piauí, Brazil, with Leonardo Pacheco on vocals, Bruno Alves on guitar, Paulinho Mesquita on bass, and Ruan Vasconcelos on drums. They started playing local events and eventually recorded their debut album, "Piauí Terra Boa," in 2007. The title track became a regional favorite, celebrating their home state.

Their music draws from traditional Brazilian styles like forró and baião, but they've also worked with artists like Alceu Valença and Elba Ramalho. Songs like "Rabo preso" and "A Mata" show their range, from upbeat rhythms to more reflective pieces. They've released several albums, including "Parábola" in 2010 and "Cabesativa Acústico" in 2018.
