Cabrón formed in Belém, Brazil in 1999. The band's lineup included Tais Ferreira on vocals, Felipe Sousa on guitar, Marcos Lima on bass, and Paulo Henrique dos Santos on drums. They released their debut album 'Centelha' in 2001, which established their raw punk sound with Brazilian rhythmic elements.
In 2005, they faced legal challenges after a performance that some religious groups found offensive. Despite this, they continued releasing albums including 'Pachamama' in 2004 and 'Sangue Quente' in 2007.
Songs like 'Centelha' and 'Morte Em Vida, Severino' represent their aggressive punk approach with Ferreira's defiant vocals at the forefront. Their 2010 album 'Fogo na Babilônia' maintained their politically charged direction, and they released a self-titled album in 2013.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
