Cacá Vianna came up in Recife, Pernambuco, where he grew up hearing bossa nova and the traditional sounds of Brazil's Northeast. He started writing songs early, drawing from artists like Chico Buarque and Caetano Veloso.
His debut album 'Quase Tudo' came out in the late 1990s and got some attention. A song from that period, 'Me Encontrando Em Ti,' became one of his better-known tracks. He followed it with albums like 'Caixa Preta' in 2003 and 'Acústico' in 2005.
Other songs people remember include 'Preso Sem Querer' and 'Um Bom Amigo.' He kept recording into the 2010s with 'Despertar' in 2012.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
