A Brazilian indie band that started with grunge and kept moving.
For their early sound, try 'Anything Good.' 'Cinema' shows where they landed later.
They built a following in Brazil's indie scene with songs like 'Anything Good,' which mixes grunge and Brazilian touches. Their 2007 album 'Cinema' included a cover of the national anthem that drew criticism for being irreverent, showing they didn't shy away from social themes. That raw, questioning approach runs through tracks like 'Mars Behind a Bush' and 'Calling.'
Cachorro Doido formed in 1993 and released their first album, 'Pistas Para Você Seguir,' in 1995. They followed with records like 'A Private Reason' in 1997 and 'Canção Amiga' in 2005, working in pop and electronica. After guitarist Diego Castro left in 2006, they returned with Pedro Sá and put out 'Cinema' in 2007.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
