In 1960, they released "Speedoo," which became their biggest hit, reaching number five on the Billboard Hot 100. The song's catchy rhythm and lyrics about a fast car made it a radio staple. They followed it with other singles like "Zoom" and "Stop the Car."
Like many groups from that era, the Cadillacs went through lineup changes over time. They recorded several albums including Speedoo! in 1960 and The Cadillacs in 1961. Their songs "Peek-a-boo" and "Sugar-sugar" also appeared in their catalog.
