Cadillacs & Dinossauros formed in Campinas, São Paulo, in 1982. The band included Carlos "Cadillac" Barbosa on vocals and guitar, Beto Lee on drums, Eduardo "Dinossauro" Araújo on guitars, and Cézar "Cem" Caetano on bass.
Their debut album came out in 1985, and the single "Um Dia" became a national hit in Brazil. They followed with albums like "Festa do Interior" in 1986 and "Por Mais Que Eu Grite" in 1990.
Lineup changes and personal conflicts affected the band through the 1990s, but they kept recording. They released the album "Ozzy" in 2002.
