They followed with albums like 'No Balanço da Canoa' in 1997, 'Olho de Cobra' in 1999, and a self-titled release in 2002. In 1999, Marcelo and Dudu Maia were injured in a car accident, which briefly paused the band's work. Their music often mixes Brazilian rhythms with rock and pop, and they've used lyrics to address political and environmental issues.
