Cães Danados

Cães Danados formed in Brazil in the early 2000s, playing a raucous punk rock that quickly found an audience. Their debut album came out in 2002, followed by records like 'Intergalático' in 2004 and 'Trovão na Montanha' in 2006. The band's most notorious track is probably 'Cólica Renal', a song whose title refers to kidney colic and whose lyrics drew attention for their blunt, graphic approach.

Rodrigo Lima, known as Digão, handled lead vocals and lyrics, while Marcelo Miranda played guitar and shared vocal duties. Pedro Loureiro was on bass and Federico Peixoto, called Fred, played drums. Their music wasn't subtle, with songs like 'Eu Tenho Um País' and 'Punk Português' delivering their messages directly. After a break, they returned with 'Adivinha Quem Voltou' in 2010.

Their live shows were known for being energetic and sometimes confrontational, which led to occasional problems with venues. The band's lyrics often tackled social norms and taboo subjects, which earned them both fans and critics. They kept making music through these challenges, sticking to their straightforward, in-your-face style.
