Caio Júnior e Kauan

Caio Júnior e Kauan started playing together after meeting at a school festival in 2003. They're from Goiás, and their music mixes rock with sertanejo, which wasn't common when they began. Early on, they played small bars and clubs around their home state.

Their first album, 'Pedra Fundamental,' came out in 2011. It helped them build a following, and they later signed with the Brazilian label Som Livre. Some of their songs include 'Rock e Sertanejo,' 'Se Eu Ficar Sem Ela,' and 'Amor de Praia.'

In 2018, there was a plagiarism accusation about their song 'O Que Eu Tô Fazendo Aqui,' but they denied it and were cleared. Some traditional sertanejo fans have criticized their rock-influenced approach, saying it commercializes the genre, while the duo sees it as an evolution.
