Caio Omena formed a band under his name in the early 2000s with musicians who shared his approach to Brazilian music. Their debut album 'Feitos de Amor' came out in 2005, and the title track became well-known.
Early on, the group dealt with financial problems and internal disagreements. There were also rumors about personal issues and accusations of plagiarism directed at Omena, which he denied.
Their 2007 album was called 'Tempo'.
