They put out their first album, 'A Salvação', in 2005, and the title track caught on as a national hit. Some listeners thought they were moving too far from traditional Brazilian sounds, but the group kept working.
They followed up with albums like 'O Canto do Sertão' in 2008, 'A Verdadeira Música' in 2012, and 'Resiliência' in 2017. Another song, 'Colarinho Branco', also became one of their better-known tracks. They've recorded with other Brazilian artists, including singer-songwriter Daniela Mercury.
