They started releasing albums in the early 1980s, beginning with their self-titled debut in 1980 and following with records like Filhos da Luz in 1982 and Todo o Poder in 1984.
Their music mixed rock and pop with Brazilian folk elements, with lyrics focused on faith themes. One of their best-known songs is "Cordeiro de Deus," which became something of an anthem in Brazilian Christian circles. They kept recording through the 1980s with albums like Vinde, Espirito Santo in 1986 and Jesus, o Verbo in 1988.
They faced some criticism from religious communities who questioned their use of rock music, but they continued performing and recording. The band released Legado in 2008 and Conexão in 2016, maintaining their presence in Brazilian Christian music over several decades.
