A late-90s Welsh trio whose music outlived their sudden breakup.
For their sound, start with 'Better Days'. For where they were headed, try 'What Light?'.
They made songs that stick around. 'Better Days' still gets played, and 'What Light?' has that quiet, questioning feel that doesn't date. Their stuff shows up in films and shows, so people keep finding it years later.
They formed in Wales in the late 1990s and put out three albums between 2001 and 2005. Bassist Dylan Thomas died in a car accident in 2004, and the band broke up the next year.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
