Camille, born Laurence Colombe in 1978, released her debut album 'Le Sac des Filles' in 2002. Her second album 'Le Fil' came out in 2005, featuring the single 'Le Festin.' She has since put out other records including 'Music Hole' in 2008, 'Ilo Lympia' in 2012, and 'Ouï' in 2017.
Her songs like 'Assise,' 'Lumière,' and 'Mon Petit Vieux' show her style, which mixes folk and pop with some experimental touches. She has worked with musicians like Jean-Louis Murat and Feist.
Camille performs with a band that has included Guillaume de Chassy on keyboards and percussion, François Poggio on guitar and bass, Jean-Pascal Boffo on drums, and Stéphane Sanofi on violin and viola. Her live shows are known for being intimate.
