Candavu: The Luminaries of Colombian Pop

Origins and Evolution

In the early 2000s, Juan Diego Ospina, a prodigious guitarist and vocalist, sought to express his artistic vision through a unique blend of pop, rock, and folk influences. Joined by his brother, Felipe Ospina, on bass, and drummer Juan David Morales, they formed Candavu in 2004.

Their debut album, "Canciones para el Camino" (2006), showcased their eclectic sound and poignant storytelling, captivating audiences with its infectious rhythms and heartfelt lyrics. The album spawned the single "Sembraste Una Luz," which became an instant classic and established Candavu as a force to be reckoned with.
