Capricious Alchemy

Capricious Alchemy formed near the end of the 1990s with vocalist Celeste, guitarist Ethan, bassist Liam, and drummer Anya. Their debut single 'A Momentary Bliss' caught attention with its haunting quality, and they followed with an album called 'Ethereal Echoes.'

Celeste's outspoken style and the band's unconventional sound drew mixed reactions. In 2008, a leaked demo of an unfinished song sparked a plagiarism dispute and a feud with another group, creating a media stir that briefly threatened to overshadow their work.

They kept recording after that, though the existing notes don't detail what came next. The music they made, like 'A Momentary Bliss,' had an ethereal pull that felt both alluring and slightly unsettled, a mix that defined their early output.
