Cardinals formed in Tallinn, Estonia in 1998 with Silver Laas on vocals and guitar, Priit Piilmann on bass, and Erki Pärnoja on drums. They released their debut album 'A Little God' in 2000, followed by 'Songs for the Sinners and Saints' in 2003.
In 2006, the band put out 'Tallinn Man' and the single 'Vikerkaar,' which became their most recognizable track. They released another album, 'The World Is Yours,' in 2010.
Silver Laas's vocals and guitar work remained central to their sound throughout their recordings.
