Carla e Junior were a Brazilian duo from São Paulo who started making music in the late 1990s. Their song 'Vagabundo' became particularly well-known, helping define their sound. They put out three albums between 1999 and 2003, including a self-titled debut and a live record.
Their music mixed funk and pop with Brazilian rhythms, and tracks like 'Vai' and 'Chega de Orgulho' carried that blend forward. The duo stopped working together around 2005.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
