Carla Sol is a Brazilian duo made up of Carla Sceno and Ramiro Musotto. They started working together in São Paulo, drawing from Brazilian artists like Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil.
Their song 'Calmaria (part. Prado)' came out in 2020 and got a lot of attention for its melancholic melody and poetic lyrics. It became their most recognizable track, along with 'Sutileza (part. Gibin)'.
In 2021 they released their first album, 'Maré,' which dealt with themes of love and loss. Their sound tends toward the dreamy and atmospheric, with Sceno's vocals floating over Musotto's arrangements.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
