Carlito, Baduy e Wilsinho were a Brazilian trio that formed in the early 1990s. Their 1995 debut single "O Amor É Assim" became a hit across Brazil, a heart-wrenching ballad about love that connected with audiences through its relatable lyrics and passionate delivery.
Their music blended traditional Brazilian rhythms with pop melodies and soulful ballads. Songs like "A Moça e o Peão" and "Dói, Dói Saudade" showed their range, from storytelling narratives to emotional expressions of longing.
In 2003, Wilsinho left the group citing creative differences, and Carlito and Baduy continued as a duo. They reunited with Wilsinho in 2010 for a series of shows.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
