Carlop formed in Buenos Aires in 2012 around singer Juan Manuel Carmona, bassist Francisco Álvarez, and drummer Juan Pablo Fernández. They released their debut album 'Delirio' in 2018, which included the track 'Delírio' that gained them some international attention. The song 'Tudo Para Mim' also appears among their more notable recordings.
Their music pulls from alternative rock and indie pop with some electronic textures, often built around Carmona's vocals and introspective lyrics. The band has maintained a fairly low public profile despite the recognition their 2018 album brought, preferring to work without much mainstream promotion.
