Carlos Castelli

Carlos Castelli was a musician from Buenos Aires whose work drew from tango and other Latin American rhythms. He moved to Europe in the late 1970s, eventually settling in Lisbon where he wrote "No Encontro do Sol e a Lua." That song, a ballad about love and loss, became his most recognized piece.

His discography includes albums like "No Encontro do Sol e a Lua" from 1978, "A Canção do Vento" from 1981, and "Alma Latina" from 2000. Other songs like "Invade a Minha Vida" and "Velho Amor de Verão" show his continued focus on melodic, emotionally direct writing.
