que un paisandero mistongo,
me invitó para un bailongo
en el pueblo de las ranas.
Las principales bacanas
de toda la población
se fueron pa' la función

La farra en orden seguía,
Todos guardaban respeto,
pero empezó a hacer efeto
la ñaca que se servía.
Un pardo flaco que había
gritó: que cante un Carlos Gardel,
mi compadre es payador
y le dijo tome usté
las guitarras y cantemé
unas décimas de amor.
