In 2007, guitarist Dan Gabor died in a car accident. The band continued with new members, eventually including Stefan Pop on drums and Florin Dobra on bass. They put out records such as "Absolute Dominion" in 2010 and "The Ten Horns" in 2013.
Around 2013, Carpatia faced accusations of promoting Satanism and occultism through their music, which they denied. They kept recording, with later albums like "A Night at the Opera" in 2015 and "The Fall and Redemption" in 2018.
