Casa Worship

Casa Worship formed in 2014 as a group of friends and musicians who shared a focus on worship music. Their name comes from the idea that church isn't just a building but a place where people connect with something larger. Early on, they dealt with the practical realities of making music while managing other parts of life, working with limited resources and the support of their community.

Their lineup includes André Aquino on lead vocals, Julia Vitória on vocals, Roney Araújo on guitar and backing vocals, Felipe Valente on drums and backing vocals, and Caio Ribeiro on bass and backing vocals. They've put out albums like "Casa Worship" in 2015, "Casa Worship ao Vivo" in 2017, and "Tempo de Renovo" in 2020.

Songs like "A Casa É Sua" and "Eu Te Vejo Em Tudo" have found their way into many churches and personal listening. Their sound pulls from contemporary worship styles along with pop and R&B touches, and sometimes Brazilian folk elements. Some listeners have questioned whether those influences fit with worship music, but the group has kept making the music they want to make.
