CASS

CASS formed in 2014 with vocalist and guitarist Cassie Collins, bassist Max Ramirez, and drummer Alex Torres. They worked out of a small studio for a few years before getting some attention in 2017 when they recorded 'Silhouettes.' That song became their most recognizable track, with its atmospheric sound pulling in listeners.

They put out a self-titled debut album in 2018, followed by 'Echoing Shadows' in 2021. Other songs like 'Sticks & Stones' and 'Worth Fighting For' have a similar moody, layered quality that sits somewhere between dream pop and alternative rock. Their music tends to be more about texture and feeling than straightforward hooks.

They've kept things fairly low-profile since then, without much of the usual industry buildup. The focus seems to stay on the recordings themselves, quiet, drifting pieces that don't try to announce themselves too loudly.
