They took their name from a casino in Rio de Janeiro. Their first album came out in 2005, followed by 'O Mundo Não É Justo' in 2007 and 'Guerra e Paz' in 2009.
One of their songs, 'A Guerra que Há em Mim,' got attention for its direct lyrics about inner conflict. It became a hit for them. Other tracks like 'Doce Leviana' and 'Dilemas' show their range with themes of desire and difficult choices.
They built a following through steady live shows in their early years. The band's music often dealt with personal and social tensions without smoothing them over.
