Max and Igor Cavalera's post-Sepultura collaboration that kept their signature sound alive.
For the full Cavalera Conspiracy experience, start with 'In Conspiracy' and 'Father Of Hate', they capture exactly what this project was about.
When Max and Igor Cavalera started working together again in 2007 after Max's departure from Sepultura, it wasn't just a reunion, it was a continuation of the aggressive thrash metal and tribal rhythms they'd helped define. Songs like 'In Conspiracy' and 'Father Of Hate' carried that same raw energy forward. The 2010 altercation with former Sepultura bassist Paulo Jr. that resulted in assault charges drew attention, but the band kept recording through it all.
They formed in 2007 and released their first album 'Inflikted' the following year. Over the next decade they put out several more albums including 'Blunt Force Trauma' in 2011 and 'Psychosis' in 2017, with the lineup including Marc Rizzo on lead guitar and Johny Chow on bass.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
