Cero Ocam formed in 2006 as a Brazilian alternative rock band with Felipe Costa on vocals and guitar, Ricardo Macedo on bass, Gabriel Ribeiro on guitar, and Bruno Dantas on drums. Their debut album 'Caminho' came out in 2009, with the title track becoming a notable song for them.
In 2011 they released a second album called 'O Peso do Mundo.' The following year they faced some public criticism over a video featuring Costa nude, which the band described as an artistic statement about vulnerability. Their third album 'Corpo Estranho' arrived in 2015, showing some shift toward electronic and indie rock elements.
By 2017, Ribeiro and Dantas had left the group, leaving Costa and Macedo to continue with new musicians.
